Homeland Security Merida Style
While walking to my office this morning I was struck by the weird beauty of something so common and mundane around here that one hardly notices it...the broken bottles on the top of the wall. Set in cement, the inexhaustible supply of raw materials makes this an economical and effective deterrent against would-be nogoodnicks.

We put all the fruit that is on the verge of going bad on the walls and the iguanas come and eat it. They pick their way through the broken glass like it's not even there. The cats can walk along the walls too.
